Traveling can be expensive and visiting any theme park can cost you a bunch of money.
Our family just got back from a short trip to Disneyland. Spending a day or more at Disneyland or any other theme park can get expensive. With the price of tickets, parking, shuttles, food, beverages and souvenirs you need to save money and set a budget so you don’t go broke.
We lucked out and found a great deal on flights, hotel and car through our online travel agent. In our searching for flights and accommodations we found it was cheaper to fly on a Sunday and vacation during weekdays. We found adding in a weekend upped the price by close to $800.
We choose an average hotel minus breakfast buffet with a swimming pool and it was situated about a mile from Disneyland. For three people we got air, hotel and car rental for $1100 US for 5 days travel this included all tranfers, luggage and taxes. This price may be high or low for some. This price was great considering all the other prices I found for the same time frame were in the $2000 range.
We searched around through different travel agencies and we had some availability in our travel dates which helped us save money. When traveling we have found that setting a budget, saving money over the course of the year and getting various quotes has saved us tonnes of money.
Where the magic happens. I think that even adults become kids when they enter the gates of Disneyland. Where else can you sail off to Neverland? Drive with Lightening McQueen? Have a chat with Mickey Mouse or Goofy? You get to experience Star Wars. You can be a Princess or Prince for a day. Disneyland is where your imagination comes alive.
10 Ways To Save Money At Disneyland:
- Set a budget
- Buy single park per day passes (Disney park hopper passes are more expensive)
