If you challenged your partner and your children to get you, Mom, the perfect Mother’s Day gift do you think they could do it?
What if you gave them 4 clues? Do you think they could get you the gift you truly want?
As Mom’s we work hard whether you are a stay at home Mom, or a working Mom, or a do it all single Mom. We work hard to keep our families happy, health and on time to everything.
I am not saying we request them to buy us anything, a little quiet time and a good cup of tea will do.
When it comes to Mother’s Day honestly I don’t want my husband or my son to buy me an over priced bouquet of roses or expensive meal. I want to feel loved, cherished and appreciated.
I honestly love the homemade Mommy gifts. I still have the painted glass bowl my son gave me when he was in preschool sitting on my desk and I love it.
As a homeschooling, full-time away from home working Mom and part time blogger I hope for a few minutes of quiet time with a good cup of coffee or tea to reflect on all that I am grateful for.
A picnic in the park and family time would be great. I look forward to my husbands famous Sunday breakfast and cuddles on the couch with my son. Simple things for a simple Mom.
The four clues I would give my husband or son would be:
- I want to feel loved, cherished and appreciated.
- I want you to put some thought into it and no money.
- I don’t want a gift that fits in a box.
- I want to feel special.
What would your four clues be?
I wish you an amazing Mother’s Day full of hugs and moments of love and laughter.
Cherish the simple thing and enjoy your day.
