With the cost of tuition, room and board, entertainment and much more the cost of going to university can get pretty steep!
Why not try to decrease your student loans and make some amazing money!
You can work around your class schedule!
Yesterday, I watched a math student rake in $60 an hour tutoring in the library! He appeared to have a full schedule of tutoring appointments for the afternoon. He charged each client $30 for about 30 minutes of tutoring specific types of questions and they had no problem paying the money.
Think about it $60 per hour, work a couple of hours and you have your groceries and maybe your entertainment paid for, for the next week or two. Your overhead is nil as you are using public areas to conduct your tutoring.
You are an expert!
What classes are you taking in college or university? What are you doing well at? What are your classmates asking you for help in?
Can you flip the answers to these questions into some extra money?
If you could tutor your friends or classmates a few hours every couple of days and arrange for repeat tutoring sessions you could start your very own side hustle. One that could help you pay for university.
Get the word out.
Start by letting your fellow classmates know you are offering a few tutoring sessions a week. Let them know the where, the how to get a hold of you and the cost.
Word of mouth advertising could be all you need. If you want to go beyond this think about advertising on a community education wall at school or on a school online forum or on craigslist. Your options are endless. Set your fee and set your times.
What if tutoring isn’t your thing?
If tutoring isn’t your thing and you need a money making opportunity you can work around your class and entertainment schedule why not try blogging. You are currently studying a wide array of topics at school any one of them you could develop a blog about. Are you an expert in a certain area of study or subject matter why not blog about it? You could blog about university life!
